This programme is designed to complement and support the challenging PhD experience for early career researchers. It is a transformative program that offers a guiding hand and a nurturing space for PhD students to help them navigate the complexities of academia, develop essential skills (research-related and soft skills related), and to support mentees to confidently advance towards their research career goals. The mentors in this programme do not replace the role of PhD supervisors.
This pilot mentoring program for early career researchers is a partnership between the GiLE Foundation the Association of Hungarian PhD and DLA Candidates (DOSZ) Ambassadors.
The Association of Hungarian PhD and DLA Candidates (Doktoranduszok Országos Szövetsége, DOSZ) focuses primarily on doctoral candidates, advocating their needs. The organisation has developed over the last three decades and has been constantly improved. All Hungarian university doctoral candidate associations are members of the organisation and delegate to its general assembly. The third pillar of the organisation, established only two years ago, is the Ambassador System, which aims to support a significant number of doctoral students from abroad, mainly from developing countries.
Step into the world of diplomacy with our unique mentoring programme that is designed for aspiring diplomats. It is designed to supplement university curricula to empower aspiring diplomats on their path to global leadership. This programme involves 1:1 mentoring sessions, interactive workshops on diplomacy-related topics, soft skills training, networking sessions, and study visits to Embassies in Hungary to gain first-hand experience from seasoned diplomats.
This pilot mentoring program for aspiring diplomats is a partnership between the GiLE Foundation the International Diplomatic Students’ Association.
IDSA seeks to bring together students interested in developing greater knowledge of International Relations, Debating and various other Soft skills as well as provide a platform where they may create meaningful connections. During active semesters, we provide embassy visits, lectures with experts, soft skill courses and social events for our members.
Calling all young changemakers with a passion to make a difference! Our program is on a mission to empower and amplify the potential of the next generation of leaders and innovators, who are destined to become the driving force of positive change in their local communities. In partnership with inspiring and experienced mentors, this transformative journey is structured to include 1:1 mentoring, cultivate essential skills, ignite visionary thinking, and foster a deeper sense of purpose, thus providing the perfect launchpad for aspiring agents of change to thrive.
